Jakarta – Badan Reserse Kriminal Polri resmi menghentikan penyidikan kasus penembakan enam anggota Laskar FPI. Dengan begitu, seluruh penyidikan perkara dan status tersangka pada enam anggota Laskar FPI tersebut sudah tidak berlaku di mata hukum. Kepala Divisi Hubungan Masyarakat Polri Inspektur Jenderal Argo Yuwono mengatakan, penghentian kasus ini mengacu pada Pasal 109 KUHAP karena tersangka sudah meninggal dunia.
“Kasus penyerangan di Tol Jakarta-Cikampek dihentikan. Dengan begitu, penyidikan serta status tersangka sudah gugur,” ujar Argo melalui keterangan tertulis pada Kamis, 4 Maret 2021. Enam Laskar FPI yang mengawal Rizieq Shihab tewas ditembak polisi di Jalan Tol Cikampek Kilometer 50 pada Senin dini hari, 7 Desember 2020 sekitar pukul 00.30. Menurut polisi, hal itu dilakukan karena laskar menyerang petugas menggunakan senjata api dan senjata tajam.
Polri pun menetapkan enam anggota laskar FPI yang tewas di Tol Jakarta-Cikampek KM 50 itu sebagai tersangka. Direktur Tindak Pidana Umum Polri Brigadir Jenderal Andi Rian menyatakan, 6 laskar FPI itu menjadi tersangka lantaran menyerang petugas. ” Sudah, sudah ditetapkan sebagai tersangka,” ucap Andi pada 3 Maret 2021 malam.
